Pep Guardiola has claimed they are "not going to buy any striker" due to the club's financial problems amid the transfer links with Erling Haaland.
Borussia Dortmund star has been reportedly targeted by a number of Premier League clubs, while Barcelona and Real Madrid are also on the list to sign the youngster.
Yesterday, the German side's sports director Michael Zorc revealed that they are not going to sell Haaland for less than €150m.
And amid the transfer speculations and reported transfer fee, Guardiola has spoken about City's financial condition and transfer plans for the summer, saying:
“With the economy in world football now, there’s more chance we are not going to sign a striker this summer.
"With current prices, we are not going to buy any striker. It's impossible, we can not afford. All clubs struggling financially, us as well.”
