Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has provided injury updates on Kevin De Bruyne and Kyle Walker following their 2-0 victory over Aston Villa.
De Bruyne appeared to be holding his leg as he was substituted at the 59th minute against Villa as Gabriel Jesus replaced him. Meanwhile, Walker was also substituted earlier at the 28th minuite as Oleksandr Zinchenko replaced the defender.
“I haven’t spoken to the doctor,” the City boss said at his post-match press conference.
“If Kyle asks to be out, it is because something happened. Hopefully it is just a kick.
“Kevin put his hand on his leg, so I have the feeling it will be something muscular.
“It is normal, these things happen with this amount of games.”
