Paul Ince believes Mason Greenwood could become one of the best players in the world.

Former Manchester United midfielder believes the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo will help the youngster in his development.

“I think he is a special talent and is a goalscorer. He has got two great feet,” Ince told the Premier League’s official website.

“We have always kind of looked him and said: ‘Is he a right-winger, or is he a centre-forward?’ He has played centre-forward this season. He can play anywhere across the front three.

“He has got great balance and with someone like Ronnie [Ronaldo] he will improve. He will get little hints from Ronnie about how he trains, what he needs to do extra and what he needs to do to be the best in the world, because this kid has got ability to be one of the best in the world.

“To have someone alongside you, along with [Raphael] Varane, who knows what it takes to be the best in the world in your position, he can only go forward, this kid.”

Greenwood has started the season in impressive form, scoring 3 goals in the first three Premier League games.
