Gianluigi Buffon: "That was one of the greatest evenings"

Ahead of Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon throws back to 2003 when Italian club knocked out Real Madrid in the semi-finals of tournament. "Well that was one of the greatest evenings I've ever had in black and white and, I think, one of the greatest evenings for the people associated with Juventus, because we had messed up and lost the first leg, and in the second leg against a Real Madrid side that had Ronaldo, Zidane and so many others, we had to try to overturn the situation which saw as start the game as underdogs,"- told goalkeeper during the interview with UEFA.com. And I have to say that we played the game perfectly, we won comfortably, because over and above the result and the penalty save I made from Figo. I think that during those 90 minutes Juventus showed themselves to be superior to Real Madrid,"- concluded Buffon.
