Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has opened up on Jesse Lingard's future at Manchester United ahead of the club's Premier League match against Southampton.
The red Devils' attacker has been linked with the move away from Old Trafford, with West Ham eyeing the Engalnd professional for a permanent move after his impressive second half of the 2020/21 season on loan with the Hammers.
"I think Jesse's first priority is to get into our team, whenever your employer is MU that's your first priority, it always is. We together can have great moments," Solskjaer said during the press conference.
"As a manager, with players and a squad, live I've got now, it's difficult to say this weekend you're not playing. I've got to leave players out of the starting XI and squad. But they all have to remember they're gonna play a part if we're gonna be successful. Jesse's back to fitness played really well in BCD game, come back in good shape, he's got a big part to play."
Lingard's current deal at United expires in 2022.
