Ian Wright thinks Liverpool's Mohamed Salah and Jordan Henderson will end their careers at Anfield.
Recently the Reds duo have been at the center of the attention regarding their new contracts.
Salah, who joined Jurgen Klopp's side back in 2018, now has a two-year contract until 2023, with his future at the club still remaining unclear.
As for Henderson, there have been talks over his possible exit from Anfield this summer, however, now he is reported to have agreed on a new three-year deal.
“He (Henderson) is somebody I can see staying there for the rest of his career,” Wright told
Kelly and Wrighty’s Show. “The same with Mo Salah now.
“We know that Liverpool, normally, at some stage, they are going to sell one of the big guys. Of course, the pandemic has put pay to that. They couldn’t do that.
“The next best thing. Imagine trying to buy someone like Mohamed Salah? How much that is going to cost with his goal return. Same with Mane. Same with Firmino.
“If you can tie them guys up, if they are going to stay then you know what you are going to get from them. Rather than splash out a lot of money on a player that might not fit in or score the goals.”
