Wolverhampton Wanderers boss Nuno Espirito Santo is hopeful Adama Traore will sign a new deal at Molineux, amid increasing speculation about his future.
The Spaniard is contracted until 2023, but it is reported the club are keen for the 24-year-old to extend.
Traore struggled in his first year at Molineux, but came alive in his second season. In 2020/21, starts have been hard to come by for the ex-Barcelona man, which is thought to be playing a part in Traore stalling over a new deal.
On the situation, Nuno said (
Birmingham Mail):
“Adama is a huge player for us. The impact that he has on the games, what he gives to the team, what he’s done over these two seasons. We want all the players to be happy here.”
A number of players have recently committed their futures to Wolves, including Raul Jimenez, Conor Coady, Max Kilman and Pedro Neto, as well as the manager.
