Nikola Jokic drew comparisons to LeBron James and Kobe Bryant after scoring off the backboard in an alley-oop to himself.
The 23-year-old centre notched up his second consecutive triple-double and finished the game with 18 points, 14 rebounds and 10 assists.
Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 121-100 on Thursday night and after the game Nuggets coach Michael Malone spoke about Jokic’s feat.
“Before we say Lebron, Kobe, I told him on the bench, every time I have seen someone use that trick they have gone up and dunked it,” Malone said.
“So his, I wouldn’t put him up there with those guys. But that play, where he just pivoted through the defence, off the glass and laid it in, that just kind of speaks to his IQ, the feel for the game and another triple-double, the guy continues to amaze.”
