"Next game, he plays": Jose Mourinho guarantees £11m Tottenham man's starting on Sunday

Jose Mourinho has promised that Joe Rodon will be included in Tottenham's next match. The £11 million Welsh defender played against Liverpool last night, being at fault for the opponents' third goal in the Spurs' 3 - 1 loss. However, Mourinho believes the 23-year-old showed he is worth being in action at the weekend. “Next game he plays for sure. Showed good personality. Went for duels, not a coward for going for every duel even against the players they have,” he said. “Played very very well and made just one mistake. For me if I have a player that makes only one mistake in a very good performance then we have to support him.”
