Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has provided an update on Harry Kane, after the 27-year-old got injured in Spurs 3-1 defeat to Liverpool.
Kane was on the receiving end of numerous heavy challenges in the early stages of the clash, however, after staying down on the turf twice, the striker was unable to play for the second half, with Erik Lamela brought on in his place.
After the match, Mourinho said:
"Two ankles, the first was a bad tackle, it was Thiago, the second one I didn't know well.
"But two injuries in both ankles, the second one worst than the first one - a few weeks, I don't know. There are some players you can't replace.
"For Harry to leave a game when he wants to play with the team losing, for Harry to come out means it is not a nothing injury.
“For how long I can’t tell you. I don’t know, we will have to wait and see.”
Spurs' upcoming clash is on Sunday as they are set to face Brighton.
