Newcastle United won the race to sign Celtic target

Newcastle United have won the race to sign Queen’s Park starlet and Celtic target Reagan Thomson. According to the Sun, the 16-year-old will join Steve Bruce’s side by signing a two-and-a-half-year deal. Queens’ are expected to land a cash windfall of around £50,000 with add ons. The Toon beat off Rangers and a late bid from Celtic. Thomson has made nine appearances for Queens Park this season so far. Source- The Sun
