Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has provided an update on Danny Rose’s fitness ahead of New Year’s Day clash with Southampton.
The 29-year-old defender has missed the last two games with injury meaning that Jan Vertonghen has had to fill in at left back.
Speaking to football.london, Spurs boss said:
“No. I don’t know (how long he will be out for). I would guess, but maybe I am wrong, a couple of weeks. But honestly, I cannot tell you. We have Winks and Sissoko back from suspension and I don’t think we are going to have anyone back from injuries.”
Mourinho’s side are set to play their first clash this year on January 1st against Southampton at St’ Mary’s Stadium.
