Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti has explained key difference between Manchester City and Liverpool, claiming that Pep Guardiola's side aren’t at the same level as last year. Ancelotti has won his first games with Everton since his appointment and his side are set to play FA Cup third round Merseyside derby with Liverpool on January 5th. However, before that Everton will face Manchester City on New Year's Day and ahead of the clashes the Toffees boss has compared both teams: “I think that the moment is good for us,” he said. “It’s good to have this kind of test but also against Liverpool. We have to be happy with trying to compete with the top teams in England and Europe." “Liverpool have won all of the games. That is why (Man City trail).
