Mikel Arteta provides injury update on Thomas Partey after Chelsea friendly match

Mikel Arteta has provided an injury update on Thomas Partey, following the club's pre-season match against Chelsea. The Gunners were defeated with a score of 2 - 1, with Partey suffering an ankle injury following a tackle by Blues attacker Hakim Ziyech. "I just had a talk with the doctor," Arteta said. "He'll have a scan tomorrow. At the moment it's not looking good." Partey has joined Arsenal last October from Atletico Madrid. During the 2020/21 campaign, he has made 24 Premier League appearances.
