Mikel Arteta claims player is "going to stay" at Arsenal amid exit talks

Mikel Arteta has opened up on Granit Xhaka's future at Arsenal amid exit talks. Earlier today, sports journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed that the Gunners have turned down Roma's bid [€12m+€3m add ons] for the player and offered him a new contract until June 2025 with an increased salary. And speaking about Xhaka, Arteta has revealed the upcoming plans for the 28-year-old. “Granit Xhaka is going to stay with us. He is a key member of our squad,” the manager said.
