Mikel Arteta opens up on his Arsenal job after failing to reach to Europa League final

Arsenal have failed to qualify for the Europa League final, as they suffered a 2-1 aggregate loss to Villarreal. In the first leg the La Liga side picked up a 2-1 win, while the second-leg game ended with a goalless draw. After the game head coach Mike Arteta has talked about his future at the Emirates. "I think everybody’s job is always in scrutiny," the Gunners boss admitted. "I feel the pressure all the time because I want to do as good as I can for the team. Today is a big disappointment because we tried everything to be in the final." Arteta also revealed what went wrong for Arsenal on Thursday. "With so many players injured, one with malaria, one pulling out it’s too much," the Spaniard said. "I think we were very imprecise with the ball. Probably we were a bit tense as well. In the second half I think we were much more dominant and created enough chances in the tie to win it. "We have to when have the chances we have to put the ball in the net. This is the other motive why we are not through." Source- football.london Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
