Mikel Arteta names the Arsenal player he’s ‘really happy’ for after last night

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has praised striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for his goal against Manchester United on Sunday evening. Aubameyang scored the only goal of the Premier League game between Arsenal and United at Old Trafford. The strike saw the former Borussia Dortmund star end a run of five league games without a goal. Arteta has praised Aubameyang and has said that he is really happy for the striker. The Spaniard told Football.London about Aubameyang: “He probably had added pressure because he knew how important that moment was. He took it really well and I’m really happy for him because he might not be scoring but he’s contributing to the team in many other ways.” According to WhoScored, the 31-year-old striker took two shots of which one ended in goal, played one key pass, had a pass accuracy of 84.4%, won one header, took 39 touches, and made two tackles.
