"It might happen again"- Leicester striker Kelechi Iheanacho's warning to Southampton

Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho has stated that their recent clash result with Southampton "might happen again." At St Mary’s in October, Brendan Rodger's side thrashed Southampton 9-0 to secure the biggest away victory in English top-flight history. The Saints have improved amazingly since and have the third best record in the division over the past eight games, picking up 16 points from a possible 24, the same as the Foxes. Speaking on their upcoming clash with the Saints, Iheanacho said: “They are a good side. We showed our quality at their home but it will be a tough game. We need to focus and get the three points.

“You never know, it might happen again. It’s football, anything can happen.

“But I think they’re going to come out strong this time, so we just need to forget about the 9-0 and focus on our job, what we need to do and get the three points.

“We have to look at that [revenge] side of it as well. They’ve had some impressive results since then and we’re expecting a strong game at the weekend, so we’re looking forward to that.”

Two sides are set to face each other on Saturday at the King Power Stadium in the frames of Premier League.
