Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has given an injury update ahead of Tottenham’s clash.
Nabi Keita, Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Fabinho were among injured players.
Matip was out since October, while Keita picked up an injury against Sheffield United.
James Milner had to come off during the Reds’ FA Cup victory over Everton last Sunday.
“James and Naby are not available,” Klopp confirmed.
“Both are muscle injuries, different and for different people so we’ll see how quick it will be.
“We really don’t have to put a time frame on it because we don’t know it exactly, we will see, when the medical team gives the green light. But for sure not this week and not for next week.”
On Matip, Klopp added: “Joel was not part of all parts of training. He was outside on the pitch which looked really good but then he had to do his own stuff again and yesterday was the first part of the training.
“Shaq [Shaqiri] trained completely normal, Dejan and Fabinho we expect to be back next week in full training and that’s obviously good.
“If that’s then earlier enough for the United game, I don’t know but we will see. They work really hard at the moment, they go really through the paces so that’s good.”
