Michael Owen has given his prediction for the Champions League clash between Liverpool and Real Madrid.
The Reds were beaten 3 - 1 by the Spanish rivals in the first leg of the quarter-final, while they will be looking to win tonight in order to secure their place in the next stage of the European top tier.
And speaking about the upcoming clash, Owen has backed Jurgen Klopp's side to beat Real with a score of
2 – 1. However, it could mean it's Zinedine Zidane's team that will continue the run.
"Liverpool were slightly under-par away in Spain last week, but they bounced back with a win at Anfield against Aston Villa on Saturday," the pundit said.
"Although they weren’t at their best, it will certainly give them confidence going into this one.
"Anfield has witnessed some incredible European comebacks in the past, and although I think Liverpool have enough to win on the night, I do believe they’ll come up just short in the tie overall. It’s 2-1 to the home side for me."
