Michael Owen has stated his prediction for the Champions League clash between Manchester City and Marseille.
The Citizens are set to face the French side on Wednesday night for a group stage game, though they have already secured their place in the last-16 in the European top tier.
Owen believes City will get three more points, securing a 2 - 0 win over the rivals.
"Having already qualified in top spot, on paper this game means little more than 3 points to Manchester City. However, with one eye on the Manchester Derby, I think Pep will demand a professional performance so they can carry some momentum into the big match," the pundit said.
"Marseille have endured a poor UEFA Champions League campaign, so far. That said, if they bettered Olympiacos’ result on the night they could squeeze into the Europa League.
"That’s unlikely, and if they decide to go for City, I can see the home side picking them off."
