Mauricio Pochettino "frustrated" with Dele Alli decision despite Jose Mourinho agreement

PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino was left frustrated with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy after the failed transfer of Dele Alli. The England international was linked with a loan move to the French side for the January transfer window, with the player, Spurs boss Jose Mourinho and Pochettino all being keen on a potential move. However, the deal didn't materialize before the transfer window deadline, while according to the Daily Mail, Pochettino is not happy with Levy's decision. Speaking on talkSPORT, former Tottenham striker Darren Bent said of the failed move: "I feel a little bit sorry for him. He's played hardly any football this season and that is a dream move to go to PSG and work with a manager that really rates you. You're going to be working with some of the very best in Neymar and Mbappe. "I think Daniel Levy didn't want to be made to look stupid. "Tottenham at the minute are not going along very well [and if Alli] goes over to PSG and starts ripping it up and playing really well then people would have said 'Why have you let him go? We're not doing very well why not play him?'"
