Mason Greenwood provides injury update ahead of pre-season as he sends message to England teammates

Mason Greenwood has hailed his England teammates for their courage and performances at Euro 2020 following their defeat to Italy in the final. The youngster was talking to the club's in-house media from pre-season training, telling supporters he enjoyed watching England at the Euros despite the team ultimately failing at the final hurdle.
"Yeah the summer was nice. It was nice to recharge and also it was nice to watch what England did," Greenwood told United Daily during pre-season training.   "It was enjoyable to watch, bit nerve wracking at home to be honest with you but it's good time to watch and I hope the lads are all well.   "All the United lads, all the young English lads who took the penalty - it was good confidence, but unfortunately they didn't go all the way, but yeah they had an amazing tournament and so did all the United lads."
Greenwood was also asked about his injury that forced him out from Gareth Southgate's Euro 2020 squad.
"I'm feeling good, I'm feeling fresh. I've recovered well in the break we've had. It's nice to be back here and everyone's just all smiles on their faces as normal and it's good to see a few of the players come back from their loans so it's good."
