Marcus Rashford might not return to action until the end of October after being told he must have surgery on a shoulder injury.
The Manchester United forward had been hampered by the problem towards the end of the season but played on through the pain barrier for England at the Euros.
The 23-year-old had a scan on Tuesday and it was decided the damage was so severe that he must have an operation.
Rashford must also wait to undergo the operation as the surgeon is not available until the end of July. He is expected to be out out for up to 12 weeks after surgery.
