Manchester United’s reasons for not pursuing Neymar transfer after summer availability

Manchester United had a chance to sign Brazilian star Neymar in the summer; however, the deal didn’t take place. Neymar made it clear he want to leave Paris Saint-Germain during the summer transfer window and has been linked with Barcelona and Real Madrid. However, he remained stuck in the French capital. There could have also been an opportunity to join Manchester United. According to The Athletic, club hierarchy at Old Trafford does not consider Neymar the sort of character they want at the club.
