Manchester United target Jadon Sancho skips Dortmund training as star may have played final match

Jadon Sancho could have played his final match for Borussia Dortmund as he is unlikely to be in the squad which faces Freiburg on Saturday because he did not show up at training this afternoon. Manchester United had a £91million bid for the England international rejected earlier this week. Sancho then stayed at home as Dortmund travelled to Bayern Munich for the German Super Cup final last night, which they lost 3-2. A 'respiratory illness' was the official reason given by the German club. The Dortmund players checked in for training at 3pm this afternoon and underwent their coronavirus testing ahead of this weekend's Bundesliga fixture. However, Sancho did not show at the training ground. It is unclear if he took a COVID-19 test at home. If the 20-year-old did not then he will not be permitted to play on Saturday. Sky Sports News claim they have been told that Sancho did turn in today because he is still suffering with the same respiratory problem. But it could also be because United are preparing a second, improved offer. Source- Daily and Sunday Express Join us on Telegram!
