MEN: Manchester United trying to sign Amad Traore from Atalanta

Manchester United are working on a deal to sign Atalanta winger Amad Traore before transfer deadline day. According to MEN, talks are progressing and there is cautious optimism of United finalising a move for the 18-year-old. Traore has not attained an international cap but may not need a work permit if he has an Italian passport, having moved to Italy at a young age. United have partly moved for Traore this summer before new criteria are drafted up for Premier League clubs to sign 18 to 21-year-old foreign talent post-Brexit. Italian sources have warned Traore will not be cheap despite his playing time in Serie A amounting to just 30 minutes. Traore became the youngest player, at 17 years and 109 days old, to score on his Serie A debut in Atalanta's 7-1 trashing of Ufdinese last term.
