Manchester United are planning a significant squad overhaul this transfer window, with manager Erik ten Hag aiming to raise over £100 million through the sale of 11 players.
The departures have already included long-serving defenders Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones, whose contracts expired. Goalkeeper David de Gea is also expected to leave as a free agent after rejecting a contract offer. Dean Henderson is likely to depart, with Nottingham Forest interested in securing his permanent transfer for around £25 million.
According to the Manchester Evening News (via Mirror), the club consider defenders Alex Telles and Eric Bailly as priorities to sell. Left-back Brandon Williams, academy graduate Anthony Elanga, and loanee Hannibal Mejbri are also available for transfer at reasonable prices.
Furthermore, offers will be considered for club captain Harry Maguire, midfielder Donny van de Beek, and forward Anthony Martial, who are not in the club's immediate plans.
Manchester United are particularly in need of a new midfielder and are open to bids for Fred, with Fulham showing interest. The club aim to raise funds for acquiring a new starting goalkeeper, two strikers, a midfielder, and a defender.
