Manchester United players sent for a spa day following Burnley loss

Manchester United players were reportedly sent for a spa day, following their 2 - 0 defeat to Burnley on Wednesday night. The Red Devils are struggling after a number of successful games. During the last fixture the club was booed by a half-empty Old Trafford. Amid the criticism towards the club, United players arrived The Mere Golf Resort and Spa in Cheshire on Thursday morning following the loss, as the Mail reports. It is claimed the club booked the warm-down before the Burnley clash and refused cancelling their plans. Michael Carrick was seen arriving with the first-team squad, followed by Harry Maguire, David de Gea and Jesse Lingard. United will be on action again against Tranmere in the FA Cup on Sunday.
