According to reports, Gareth Bale earns €14m (£12.5m) net with incentives and there he was offered €25m (£22.3m) net per season. But the departures of head coach Zinedine Zidane, who frequently left him on the bench, and Cristiano Ronaldo resulted in the 28-year-old opting to remain at the Bernabeu.
