Manchester United and Manchester City in rush for Tottenham midfielder

Manchester United and Manchester City are reportedly interested in Tottenham's Harry Winks. The English midfielder has joined the Spurs in 2016. His contract expires in 2024. However, Winks has found his playing time limited under the club boss Jose Mourinho. He has completed 90 minutes just twice, after being a regular under the former manager Mauricio Pochettino. The 23-year-old started for the FA Cup against Middlesbrough on Sunday, but was withdrawn after picking up an ankle injury during the first half of the game. The Athletic reports Winks has been discussed by senior figures of the Red Devils. It is also reported that the Citizens are ready to sign the player in the summer, as Fernandinho turns 35 in May, while David Silva has already confirmed he will quit the club this summer.
