Manchester United make enquiry to sign N'Golo Kante: What Solskjaer thinks about him

Manchester United have made contact with Chelsea regarding the signing of N'Golo Kante. The Frenchman has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in recent weeks. Inter Milan wanted to sign the 29-year-old but sporting director Piero Ausilio ruled out a move. Kante has started Chelsea's first three Premier League matches. However, according to The Mirror, the Blues are prepared to sell the player and United have approached Chelsea and Kante's advisors regarding a move to Old Trafford. United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer believes Chelsea star N'Golo Kante could provide some much-needed steel to his midfield. Kante would have to take a big cut on his current £300,000-a-week wages to join United. However, the midfielder is reluctant to leave Chelsea for less money.
