Manchester United have agreed terms to seal signing of "the next Cristiano Ronaldo"

Manchester United have reportedly completed the signing of Atletico Madrid youth team star Alejandro Garnacho. According to Marca, the player has signed a five-year deal. The 16-year-old rejected the interest from Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid and decided to join Manchester United. Garnacho is said to have been one of the birghtest talents of Atletico's youth system in recent years. The striker decided to join United where his idol Cristaino Ronaldo spent six years in order to follow his footsteps. Garnacho celebrated his 16th birthday in July and was then open to discuss terms with other clubs. Manchester United have been making a concerted effort to bring in young players from Spain and Garnacho is the third to arrive at the club this summer. Marc Jurado has arrived from Barcelona and Alvaro Carreras has joined from Real Madrid, the former a promising right back and the latter playing on the left of defence. Mateo Mejia also arrived from Real Zaragoza last year, so there is a significant Spanish contingent growing in the United academy.
