Manchester United free to complete PSG midfielder transfer after July discussions

Paris Saint-Germain would like to 'separate' from Idrissa Gueye, reports claim. Premier League duo Manchester United and Wolves have been linked with the midfielder in recent months. Gueye made 108 appearances in all competitions for Everton during his three-season spell at Goodison Park before leaving for Paris. He joined the Ligue 1 champions in a deal worth £30million. The 30-year-old made 33 appearances during his debut campaign for PSG. But his days at the Parc des Princes are numbered. According to French publication Le10sport, PSG want to sell him just 12 months after his arrival. It's believed that the player's future in Paris is 'crumbling from week to week'. His availability could be of interest to Manchester United and Wolves. In July, the same publication claimed that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and co. launched an enquiry to discuss the 64-capped Senegal international. Source: express
