Manchester United flop gives green light for transfer move to Wolves

Manchester United flop Dong Fangzhuo has told Wolverhampton Wanderers transfer target Wu Lei to move to England irrespective of whether Espanyol survive in La Liga. Espanyol are in the relegation zone in La Liga after a dismal season. The Chinese striker was targeted by Wolves back in 2018 but the move was abandoned amid fears he wouldn't be able to secure a work permit. Wu played against Wolves in the Europa League last-32 tie in February which Nuno Espirito Santo's side won 6-3 on aggregate and was one of the few Espanyol players to impress in the first leg at Molineux. And now, according to Marca, Dong, who failed to make an impression in the Premier League in four years at Manchester United, has advised Wu to jump at the chance to play in England. "Will Wu Lei stay if Espanyol get relegated? I think he’d better move to England no matter how Espanyol will finish the season,” Dong told fans in a video on his Weibo account. In my view, Espanyol is no longer suitable for Wu, considering their deficient midfield and their whole set-up. I think he should not choose to stay on.” Source- BirminghamLive
