Manchester United are eager to sign James Maddison next year, as the Red Devils need to improve the squad.
The 22-year-old turns to his 23 next month, which United considers a perfect age for joining the team. Yet, he is a boyhood United fan and in good terms with his former teammate Harry Maguire.
The English forward has a contract with Leicester city till 2023. The club is possible to set a price tag for the player similar to Maguire's £80million transfer fee, if the player's value continues to rise over the next eight months. That means United could be under pressure to sign the 22-year-old before the European Championship.
Maddison has already scored and assisted two times for Leicester City during the Premier League season.
