David Moyes sends transfer message over Paul Pogba

Former Manchester United boss David Moyes thinks the club should keep Paul Pogba from moving to another team. Though the midfielder previously told he wants "new challenges" elsewhere, United managed to keep the Frenchman at Old Trafford in the summer. The player has a contract with the Red Devils till 2021 but United have the chance to to extend it. Real Madrid have been one of the main teams targeting the 26-year-old. Yet, Pogba was pictured with Zinedine Zidane during the international break. However, the Real boss assumed they met just by chance. Speaking on the importance of keeping Pogba at United, Moyes told talkSPORT: "Pogba is still Manchester United's best midfielder player. He could probably play for any team in the world, certainly in Europe. He'd get a game for any team. I'm not always sure he's a player who's consistent and makes the difference all the time. For the profile he's got, you're hoping he makes the difference. He doesn't always make the difference, but do I think he should stay at Manchester United ? Yes, I do. If you were picking the Manchester United team, Pogba would be in their midfield at the moment, that's for sure." The French midfielder is still recovering from his ankle injury and will miss the Europa League game against Partizan Belgrade tomorrow.
