Manchester United could raid La Liga to solve their centre-back problems, according to reports. The Red Devils welcomed several players during the summer transfer window, including Donny van de Beek, Alex Telles, Facundo Pellistri, and Edinson Cavani. They have also captured the signing of Amad Diallo, who will join United in January.
According to
ESPN, Solskjaer is no longer ruling out signing a new defender in January with the club having already started compiling a list of potential alternatives. The list includes two La Liga centre-backs.
The first one is Sevilla's Jules Kounde, who is valued at as much as £63million. And second one Villarreal defender Pau Torres.
In order for any deal to happen, however, United will need to offload several centre-backs with Phil Jones and Marcos Rojo being the first ones who could be sold.
