Four players could leave Manchester United in January transfer window

Ole Guunar Solskjaer could allow four Manchester United players to leave the club on January. The Red Devils have completed four signings during the summer transfer window, with the club boss eager to improve the squad. Chris Smalling joined Roma permanently, while there a number of players that could possibly make a move away from Old Trafford. Sergio Romero has become the club's third-choice goalkeeper after David De Gea and Dean Henderson. The keeper wanted to exit United this summer, however, now he will have to wait for the January transfer window. Phil Jones could also be included on the list of the players likely to leave Solskjaer's side, with the manager having other defensive options in the squad. Daniel James has joined the Red Devils last summer, while after a few impressive matches, struggled to keep his place in the first team. He has recently been targeted by Leeds United, and Solskjaer could decide on the player's transfer, having Mason Greenwood ahead of the winger. Paul Pogba has also been included on the list as recently the French star revealed about his "dream" move to Real Madrid. Should he leave on January, Donny va de Beek will be considered as the midfielder's replacement at the club.
