Manchester City put a price tag on Eric Garcia amid Barcelona links

Manchester City have named their price for defender Eric Garcia after he refused to sign a new contract at the club. On Thursday, City boss Pep Guardiola revealed the 19-year-old did not want to stay at the club beyond the expiration of his contract next summer. The Premier League club will, therefore, cash in on the teenage defender. Several reports in Spain claim that City have set a £31million price tag over Garcia's head. The deal would be an initial £20million fee, with the remaining £11million to be paid in add-ons. A move to Barcelona would see him return to the club that trained him through his developing years. The 6ft defender, who was born in Barcelona, joined Manchester City as a 16-year-old in 2017 during Guardiola's second season in charge of the Premier League club. Source: Daily Mail
