Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has spoken out on contract talks with the club. De Bruyne, whose contract with City runs until the summer of 2023, joined the club in 2015 and has been a key player for the Premier League side.
During this season, De Bruyne has made overall 10 appearances in which he has scored one goal and provided seven assists. The City midfielder is currently on international duty with Belgium.
Speaking to Belgian TV station VTM Nieuws, after Belgium celebrated 2-0 win over England, De Bruyne said: "I am at a good club [with] good owners.
"We are a bit in talks - not advanced. At the moment I am doing the talks myself.
"I would like to stay with the club, so it's easy. If I didn't want to stay, it would take someone to mediate. But when you want to stay, it's not so difficult."
