Lyon set a transfer deadline for Nabil Fekir

Lyon star Nabil Fekir has 18 months left for his contract to expire at the French club. France international has already completed a move to Liverpool last summer. He has even posted pictures from England, however, he failed to pass medical tests, and 52.4 m deal didn’t happen. Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has spoken out on Fekir’s new contract issues. “For the moment, we have not really had a real discussion, even if we met three weeks ago." Aulas said (via LiverpoolECHO). "The sorting out of various things concerning who the agent is, is ongoing. The aim, is to have a clear and precise position from his point of view between now and the end of the year. "Jean-Pierre Bernès is still his agent but he cannot be so at the end of the player’s contract.” As Fekir's contract expires in summer of 2020, his move from League is possible in 2019, as Chelsea and Bayern Munich are also interested. Liverpool, meanwhile, may reportedly reignite their interest, as Jurgen Klopp needs this type of player to have more attacking choices and to be tactically flexible.
