Liverpool's reaction to Mo Salah's painful loss at CAF: How will Reds support star forward?

Mohamed Salah will be given additional weeks to rest before joining Liverpool ahead of the new season. Egypt international was in action with his national team at African Cup of Nations, where hosts were sensationally defeated by South Africa in Cairo and eliminated from Round of 16. Salah, who wanted to win the title for his country, has been left in tears after the match as Egyptians are disappointed for the second time following team's bad performances during the World Cup 2018 a year ago. Jurgen Klopp will give additional time to Salah to rest, which means Mo will miss the pre-season matches against Tranmere Rovers and Bradford City, USA tour matches against Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla and Sporting Lisbon and Edinburgh friendly against Napoli. Salah will return to Liverpool before the Community Shield against Manchester City, that is scheduled on August 4, 5 days before the start of Premier League. Brazil internationals Alisson Becker and Roberto Firmino will also return in the same time, as both player are preparing for Copa America final against Peru. Source - LiverpoolECHO
