Tottenham Hotspur continue their searches for new players. Spurs have already signed two players during the transfer window, but Mauricio Pochettino is not yet satisfied with the squad and wants more newcomers.
According to what has been reported by Italian media outlet Corriere Dello Sport, Tottenham are interested in signing AS Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo and have offered Giallorossi £20 m + Toby Alderweireld.
Zaniolo himself, however, prefers to stay in home country and join Serie A giants Juventus. The problem is that Juventus have already completed signings of Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot and 20-year-old Italy national team starlet could not have a place in the squad of Bianconeri.
This could be a boost for Tottenham. Spurs are also interested in signing Argentina national team midfielder Giovanni Lo Celso. There is a massive price difference between Lo Celso and Zaniolo, and Italian international seems a better signing in terms of finance.
Roma are interested in this offer, as Alderweireld could become a replacement for Kostas Manolas, who has joined Napoli several days ago.
