Liverpool are reportedly set to stimulate their move for Thiago Alcantara over the coming days. The Reds prepare to open talks with Bayern Munich for the midfielder. The 29-year-old was at the heart of Bayern's Champions League final victory over Paris Saint-Germain. But, despite positive contract negotiations at the start of the year, Thiago has a change of heart and is seeking a fresh challenge. Liverpool have agreed on personal terms with the Spain international and the Premier League champions must now satisfy Bayern's financial demands. Until now, Liverpool have indicated that they would be reluctant to meet Bayern's £27million asking price. According to German publication Sport Bild, developments are likely to gather pace over the next few days and an opening transfer offer is ‘expected’ from the Reds imminently.
