Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has suggested that he would love Liverpool to sign Ben White. Leeds have been chasing White during the summer, but they have now walked away from a deal, according to Sky Sports. Brighton are demanding big money for White, but MacAnthony feels that the £40 million valuation of the 22-year-old is fair and, as a Liverpool fan, he would like to see Jurgen Klopp’s side bid. Peterborough were one of the sides who helped developed White, as he spent a brief spell on loan there. "In today’s market & age etc; most probably defo £30 mill plus £10 mill in add ons. I’d love Liverpool to buy him if Leeds haven’t got him," MacAnthony tweeted.
