Liverpool tipped to make move for star who they missed out on a few years ago

Liverpool could sign AFC Bournemouth's Lloyd Kelly this summer, according to Neil Jones of Goal. Kelly could bring in defensive reinforcements and would provide cover for two positions. The Reds were interested in signing Kelly when he left Bristol City. However, they were beaten to the punch by The Cherries, who paid around £13m to secure a transfer. Bournemouth looking like they’ll be relegated to the Championship very soon and Kelly could soon become available once again. If Liverpool’s recruitment staff are still interested in Kelly, then his signing could be a useful one as he’d be able to provide cover at centre-back and at left-back too. That could allow the Reds to let Dejan Lovren leave. Kelly could also be the man to fill in at left-back if Andy Robertson was not available for any reason. Source: readliverpool
