Liverpool squad numbers Ibrahima Konate could wear

  Earlier today, The Athletic reported that Liverpool are looking to finalize a deal for RB Leipzig defender Ibrahima Konate. Ahead of his possible move, Express Sport have taken a look at four squad numbers that he could wear once his move is officially sealed. Konate wears No.6 at RB Leipzig, however, that number is currently occupied by Thiago Alcantara. Number 5 Currently, the number is worn by Georginio Wijnaldum, however, the midfielder's current contract with the club expires at the end of this season and he has been linked with a move to Barcelona. Number 13 This number is currently occupied by Adrian, however, the goalkeeper isn’t expected to be given a new deal when his contract expires in the summer.  Number 15  No.15 currently belongs to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The player's future is also currently uncertain at Liverpool. Number 22 No.22 belongs to Loris Karius, however, the goalkeeper has been spending his career out on loan since 2018.
