Liverpool could sign RB Salzburg star for JUST £7.75 m: And it’s NOT Haaland
Liverpool are interested in signing RB Salzburg midfielder Takumi Minamino.
As reported by the Daily Mirror, Merseyside club are aware of the release clause for Japan international, which will be activated in January. And the clause is JUST £7.75 m.
Minamino has been impressive in both matches against Liverpool in the group stage of the Champions League.
24-year-old midfielder, who can play either wider or behind the striker, has scored one of the three goals and Anfield and was one of the best players in the recent match at Red Bull Arena.
With Minamino, Liverpool also want to be closer to the Asian market.
Currently, Reds have won the case against New Balance in the court, and it has been reported that Nike will become the club's new partner.
Nike, on the other hand, would love to see Minamino in the Merseyside club, as he could offer them penetration into the Far Asian market.
