Joe Gomez sends message to Liverpool fans after suffering an injury
Liverpool defender Joe Gomez has taken to Instagram and send a message to the Reds supporters after suffering a serious knee injury. The defender suffered the injury during a training session while on international duty with England.
Gomez underwent surgery on his left patellar tendon on Thursday and is now likely to miss the majority of this season. He joins the two other defenders on the sideline as Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold have also suffered injuries.
